BEFORE/AFTER --> This dark kitchen in an Italianate style home was not functional for a family of five that loves to cook and entertain. We removed an angled wall, pantry and a drop-down ceiling over the island, and incorporated a larger, single level island with seating to facilitate food preparation and entertaining. Professional grade appliances, a coffee station and new pantry cabinets were added to improve the functionality of the space. Bright off-white perimeter cabinetry lightens the kitchen and provides a stunning contrast to the beautiful island in a truffle stain. Ceiling height cabinetry with a two-piece crown molding draws the eye up and accentuates the spaciousness of the room. Designed by Victoria Pelly.
